Role Summary
Oxford International School Gajraula is seeking a qualified and experienced PGT Business Studies Teacher for its school in Dhanaura, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Business Studies.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Business Studies to students of classes XI-XII.
2. Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessments.
3. Conduct regular tests and exams to evaluate student progress.
4. Provide individual guidance and mentorship to students.
5. Develop and implement new teaching methods and curriculum.
6. Maintain student records and progress reports.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop school policies and programs.
8. Participate in school events and activities.
9. Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce with specialisation in Business Studies.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- 4 years of teaching experience in a school.
- Good knowledge of Business Studies curriculum and teaching methods.
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification.
- Experience in teaching Business Studies to classes XI-XII.
- Knowledge of computer applications and educational technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Familiarity with school management software and educational apps.
