What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons in computer science, aligning with the school's curriculum and syllabus.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to engage students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new programs and initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in computer science to enhance teaching and learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student participation and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and competitions to showcase student work and achievements.
Required Qualifications
You must possess a post-graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is also necessary. A TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
You should have a strong understanding of computer science concepts, programming languages, and software development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in teaching computer science to students of classes XI and XII is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits
You will receive a salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. You will also be entitled to benefits such as leaves, medical insurance, and professional development opportunities.
