Job Overview
We are seeking a PGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty at Oxford International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to students in classes 6 to 12. As a PGT Physics Teacher, you will be expected to prepare and deliver engaging lectures, conduct practical experiments, and assess student progress. Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons in Physics to classes 6 to 12
- Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Physics and implement new strategies in the classroom
- Contribute to the development of the Physics department at Oxford International School
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or a related field. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is also required for teaching positions. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching Physics and have cleared the CTET or TET exam.
