Oxford International School Gajraula invites applications for the position of TGT Biology Teacher in Dhanaura, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. We seek a dedicated and experienced educator to teach Biology to students from Class 6 to 10. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans and assessments that cater to the needs of our students.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a TGT Biology Teacher, you will be expected to use practical methods and tools to teach Biology concepts. You will be required to manage the school laboratory and ensure that equipment and materials are maintained and used effectively. You will also be responsible for conducting field trips and science fairs to enhance student learning.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and teach Biology lessons to students from Class 6 to 10.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments that cater to the needs of our students.
3. Conduct practical tests and experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts.
4. Manage the school laboratory and ensure that equipment and materials are maintained and used effectively.
5. Conduct field trips and science fairs to enhance student learning.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
7. Collaborate with other subject teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
8. Participate in school events and activities that promote Science and Mathematics education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc or M.A. in Biology) with a valid B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a TET/CTET certification.
