Daily responsibilities include conducting engaging Science lessons, preparing lesson plans aligned with the syllabus, and ensuring students grasp key concepts through practical demonstrations. Daily classroom management, student feedback, and maintaining a safe lab environment are also essential tasks. Observing student progress and addressing individual learning gaps during daily interactions is crucial.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve coordinating Science department activities, collaborating with other teachers on interdisciplinary projects, and participating in curriculum development meetings. Organizing science fairs, workshops, or field trips to enhance learning experiences is part of this role. Regularly updating teaching resources and ensuring compliance with school policies is also required.
Periodic responsibilities include attending departmental reviews, preparing annual progress reports, and conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance. Organizing science club activities or guest lectures by experts in the field is another important task. Ensuring all lab equipment is well-maintained and updated is a key periodic duty.
The TGT Science Teacher at P.b.r.p Academy must hold a postgraduate degree in Science with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A teaching certificate like TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. At least two years of experience in Science teaching is required for this role.
