PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment

Teaching philosophy and approach for Social Science
Social Science must be taught through stories, maps, debates and project-based learning rather than rote memorization. The Social Science curriculum at Sks School encourages critical thinking and civic awareness.
Specific duties and responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for classes 1 to 5 with age-appropriate content and activities. Prepare monthly and weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines and the school’s academic calendar. Organize field trips, model-making sessions and role-plays to make history and geography come alive. Assess students through quizzes, projects, maps and viva voce rather than just written exams. Maintain portfolios of student work to track progress in Social Science skills. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Social Science with language and art projects. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress in Social Science.
Subject-specific qualifications and expertise
Graduation in History, Geography, Political Science or Sociology is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Social Science as a teaching subject is mandatory. Candidates with post-graduation in Social Science will be preferred. Familiarity with CBSE Social Science syllabus for primary classes is essential.
