About This Role
Sunbeam School is looking for an experienced Dance Teacher to join our team in Azamgarh. The selected candidate will plan, organize, and oversee all dance-related activities at the school. This role is full-time and involves administrative leadership in dance programs for students and events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement dance curriculum aligned with Sunbeam School’s creative arts vision.
2. Organize annual dance competitions, annual functions, and inter-house events on campus.
3. Coordinate with the sports and cultural department to integrate dance into school programs.
4. Maintain discipline and safety standards during dance rehearsals and performances.
5. Manage dance team selection, training schedules, and costume procurement.
6. Document student progress, attendance, and performance reports quarterly.
7. Represent Sunbeam School at local cultural events and inter-school festivals in Azamgarh.
8. Oversee the maintenance of dance studio equipment and storage areas.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of experience in school dance programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with event management basics is helpful.
Preferred Skills
Strong choreography and performance skills in Indian classical, folk, or contemporary styles. Ability to teach dance to children aged 5 to 16 years. Leadership in managing student groups and volunteers during events.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health coverage for self and family, transport facility within Azamgarh city limits, and staff uniform allowance.
