Job Overview
Kesari Public School (inter College) invites applications for the position of PGT Hindi. The department of Hindi at the college is committed to fostering linguistic excellence and cultural awareness among students. Day-to-Day Duties
Conduct regular lectures and tutorials for PGT students in Hindi language and literature. Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the college curriculum and examination patterns. Organize and supervise internal assessments, unit tests, and model examinations for Hindi subjects.
Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students on career paths in Hindi studies. Evaluate student progress through assignments, presentations, and viva voce examinations. Contribute to the development of updated syllabi and teaching materials for Hindi courses.
Coordinate with other faculty members to organize departmental seminars, debates, and cultural events focused on Hindi literature and heritage. Assist in the preparation of question papers and evaluation of answer sheets as per examination guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Hindi with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. UGC-NET/SET qualification is mandatory for the post of Assistant Professor; those without NET/SET but with a Ph.D. in Hindi may also apply.
Three years of teaching experience in Hindi at the higher secondary or graduate level is required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in postgraduate teaching or research guidance.
Research & Publications
Encourage and support faculty to undertake research projects in Hindi language, literature, or pedagogy. Motivate publication of research papers in UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals related to Hindi studies.
Facilitate participation in national and state-level seminars, conferences, and workshops on Hindi literature and education. Recognize and reward research contributions that enhance the academic reputation of Kesari Public School (inter College).
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary in the range of Rs.28,000 to Rs.48,000 per month as per UGC scales for PGT positions. Additional benefits include provident fund, medical reimbursement, and leave travel concession as per college policy.
