Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures to students on various aspects of History, including ancient, medieval, and modern periods.

- Conduct and invigilate exams, ensuring fairness and transparency in assessment.
- Develop and implement curriculum for History, incorporating new developments and themes.
- Prepare and submit lesson plans, marking schemes, and other teaching materials.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to discussions on curriculum development and academic policies.
- Maintain student records, including attendance and progress reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and organize academic events, such as seminars and workshops.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the position of Assistant Professor, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in History or a related field, along with UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET clearance. Candidates with a Master's degree in History with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/SET clearance are also encouraged to apply. A strong academic background, teaching experience, and research publications will be preferred.
