About This Role
The Music department at Kesari Public School (inter College) seeks a highly qualified and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our faculty. As a PGT, you will be responsible for teaching Music to our undergraduate students and contributing to the academic and extracurricular activities of the college. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a candidate who can commit to our institution for at least three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Music to undergraduate students, including theory and practical classes
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, syllabi, and assessments
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and mentor students
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Music curriculum
- Conduct exams, assessments, and other evaluations as per the college's examination schedule
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a well-rounded education for our students
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the college
- Supervise and guide students in their academic and extracurricular pursuits
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Who Can Apply
We invite applications from candidates who possess a Master's degree with minimum 55% marks and have cleared the UGC-NET/SET for Assistant Professor or have a Ph.D. in Music. Candidates with a strong academic background and teaching experience will be preferred. Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.28,000 - Rs.48,000 per month as per UGC scales. In addition to the salary, the candidate will be entitled to other benefits as per the college's policies and the UGC guidelines.
