Ensure compliance with NEP 2020 guidelines in Zoology curriculum delivery and assessment.
Maintain liaison with Uttar Pradesh State Education Board for syllabus updates and examination reforms.
Represent the Zoology department in college academic committees and inter-institutional collaborations.
Who Can Apply
Ph.D. in Zoology with a minimum of eight years of post-doctoral teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
Current Associate Professor or Professor in any UGC-recognized college or university.
Master’s degree in Zoology with minimum 55% marks and NET/SET qualified.
Publications in UGC-CARE listed journals and prior experience in departmental leadership are preferred.
Experience in curriculum design and laboratory administration will be given additional weight.
Research & Publications
Guide Ph.D. and M.Sc. students in Zoology research aligned with local biodiversity and environmental themes.
Publish research papers in UGC-CARE and Scopus-indexed journals with departmental co-authorship where applicable.
Encourage undergraduate projects in applied Zoology, entomology, or wildlife conservation relevant to eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Organize annual departmental research colloquium to showcase student and faculty work.
Collaborate with local NGOs and forest departments for field-based research and outreach.
