Job Overview
Sunbeam School, a prominent educational institution in Azamgarh, is seeking an experienced and skilled Science teacher to join our faculty as a PRT Science Teacher. As a senior member of the Science department, you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum, mentoring junior staff, and driving academic excellence in Science education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement engaging and effective Science curricula for Classes VI to X.
2. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
3. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members in Science teaching and learning strategies.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Science initiatives and projects.
5. Analyze and interpret academic data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
6. Develop and lead professional development workshops for Science teachers on best practices and new technologies.
7. Supervise and guide students during Science experiments, projects, and extracurricular activities.
8. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress.
9. Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and programs related to Science education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a related field.
* A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Science.
* TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
