What You Will Do
- Plan and manage the transportation operations, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs of students and staff.
- Oversee the maintenance of school buses, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Supervise and train bus drivers, conductors, and other support staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
- Coordinate with parents and guardians to address any transportation-related concerns or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, attendance, and incidents.
- Collaborate with the school administration to ensure seamless transportation operations during events and activities.
- Establish and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure smooth communication with students, parents, and staff regarding transportation schedules, delays, or changes.
- Work closely with the school management to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in a relevant field and have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. While a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred for teaching positions, it is not required for this non-teaching role. A strong understanding of transportation management, safety regulations, and staff supervision is essential.
