Responsibilities
Teach Political Science to students in Class 11 and 12 at St. Xaviers Senior Secondary School, ensuring alignment with the Uttar Pradesh Board curriculum. Develop engaging lesson plans, lectures, and study materials tailored to modern political theories and contemporary issues.
Engage students with discussions on governance, international relations, and civic duties, fostering critical thinking and awareness. Conduct regular assessments, including exams and quizzes, to evaluate understanding and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, supporting the school’s academic tracking system. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine teaching strategies and adapt lesson delivery based on student feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the PGT role in Uttar Pradesh.
Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in Political Science or a related field. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, a valid teaching license is highly recommended.
Salary and Employment Details
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, permanent position at St. Xaviers Senior Secondary School in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh.
