Job Description
PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
What It Is Like Here
Seth M.r Jaipuria School in Bareilly sits on a quiet campus near Civil Lines, where teachers gather under the big neem tree during breaks to share lesson plans and student stories. The Computer Science department is small but close-knit, with colleagues who prefer practical planning over paperwork and prefer to solve technical snags together before the first bell. You will find a mix of senior educators who remember the days of floppy disks and newer recruits who bring fresh ideas from recent workshops.
Role Summary
The Computer Science Teacher Vacancy in Bareilly at Seth M.r Jaipuria School is a full-time primary role for grades 1–5, focused on introducing young learners to basic programming, logical thinking, and safe internet habits. You will plan weekly activity-based sessions that link digital concepts to everyday life, from sorting algorithms in games to simple animation projects. The school provides a modern lab with Raspberry Pi kits and age-appropriate software, so you can focus on teaching rather than chasing resources.
Key Responsibilities
Create monthly unit plans for Computer Science that align with CBSE primary themes and integrate seamlessly with other subjects.
Conduct hands-on PRT Computer Science Teacher lessons twice a week, using story-based coding tools like ScratchJr and unplugged activities for younger grades.
Assess students through simple rubrics and portfolios rather than formal tests, sharing progress with parents in plain language.
Organize an annual Computer Science exhibition where students demonstrate their projects to families and senior teachers.
Maintain the lab inventory, labeling cables and updating the software log after each class.
Collaborate with the math and EVS teams to reinforce patterns, sequencing, and data handling across the curriculum.
Attend monthly department meetings in Bareilly to share best practices and review upcoming themes.
Participate in local tech fairs and inter-school coding contests to build visibility and student confidence.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Minimum three years of classroom experience, preferably in primary grades and with exposure to basic programming concepts.
Familiarity with tools like Scratch, Code.org, or similar platforms is a plus.
Willingness to work in Bareilly’s school timings and occasional Saturday workshops.
No TET or CTET required for this position.
What You Get
Salary ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
