Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive Computer Science classes using hands-on projects and practical examples. Prepare daily lesson plans that incorporate real-world applications of programming concepts. Engage students through coding challenges, group activities, and interactive whiteboard sessions. Ensure students understand basic programming syntax, algorithms, and digital literacy principles.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and project evaluations to track progress. Collaborate with the Computer Science faculty to refine curriculum content and teaching strategies. Participate in school-wide events, such as coding competitions or tech workshops, to promote interest in the subject. Maintain updated teaching materials, including textbooks, digital resources, and lab equipment.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend departmental meetings to discuss teaching updates and student feedback. Organize periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance in Computer Science. Ensure all classroom activities comply with school policies and safety guidelines for digital learning environments.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in Computer Science or related subjects. A strong foundation in programming languages (C++, Python, Java) and a passion for teaching young minds are essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
