About This Role
Seth M.r Jaipuria School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PRT Dance Teacher for a challenging and rewarding role in our dance department.
As a PRT Dance Teacher at Seth M.r Jaipuria School, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students from Class I to Class XII. You will also be expected to participate in curriculum leadership, board exam coaching, and other school activities.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons to students, incorporating the latest teaching methods and technologies.
- Develop and implement dance curriculum for classes from Class I to Class XII, in accordance with the CBSE guidelines.
- Coach students for board exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance with other subjects, such as music, art, and physical education.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in school events, such as dance performances, festivals, and competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in Dance or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
