Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement age‑appropriate physical education lessons that align with the school curriculum.
2. Conduct regular fitness assessments and monitor student progress in strength, endurance, and coordination.
3. Organise and supervise intra‑school and inter‑school sports events, ensuring safety and fair play.
4. Collaborate with teachers from other subjects to integrate physical activities into overall learning plans.
5. Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and injury reports for each student.
6. Provide guidance to students on proper technique, sportsmanship, and healthy habits.
7. Develop and update training materials, drills, and instructional videos for use by students and staff.
8. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to stay current with PRT best practices.
9. Ensure all sports equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and properly stored.
10. Encourage participation from all students, adapting activities for diverse abilities and interests.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for promoting physical well‑being.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and parents.
