Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities that align with curriculum standards. Supervise outdoor games, sports drills, and fitness exercises to maintain a safe and inclusive environment. Collaborate with the principal and staff to integrate physical education into the school’s broader educational goals.
Teach fundamental sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, and athletics, adapting lessons for students of varying skill levels. Maintain equipment inventory, ensuring all sports gear is clean, functional, and accessible for classes. Encourage participation in school-level sports events and extracurricular activities to foster a healthy lifestyle.
Qualification
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for this position. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should hold a graduate degree in any discipline with a passion for physical education and sports. Experience in teaching physical activities to children is highly beneficial.
Experience
At least one year of teaching experience in physical education or related subjects is required. Familiarity with Uttar Pradesh school curriculum guidelines for physical education is advantageous. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creativity in lesson planning and a strong commitment to student development.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.10,000 to Rs.13,000, along with other benefits as per government norms.
