About This Role
Dsb International Public School is looking for a Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs. This position involves designing and implementing individualized education plans within the school’s inclusive framework. The role ensures compliance with special education policies and fosters a supportive environment for all learners.
Day-to-Day Duties
Coordinate with school leadership to align special education services with institutional goals.
Assess student needs and develop IEPs in collaboration with parents and specialists.
Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet individual learning objectives.
Train staff on inclusive teaching practices and classroom adaptations.
Maintain accurate records of student evaluations and interventions.
Liaise with external agencies for therapy or assessment referrals when required.
Organize workshops for parents on supporting children with special needs.
Ensure adherence to CBSE and RTE guidelines for inclusive education.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
Minimum 3 years of experience in special education or allied fields.
Familiarity with IEPs and classroom accommodations.
Good to Have:
Experience in a reputed school setting.
Knowledge of assistive technologies and sensory tools.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership to guide support staff and teachers.
Excellent communication to interact with parents and stakeholders.
Organizational skills to manage multiple student cases efficiently.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
