Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Social Science teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Preparing and delivering lessons on various aspects of Social Science, such as history, geography, and civics
* Using smart boards to create engaging presentations and interactive activities
* Assigning tasks and quizzes through Google Classroom
* Providing feedback and guidance to students through online and offline channels
* Maintaining student records and progress reports
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
* Participating in school events and activities to promote student engagement and learning
* Using Learning Management Systems to track student progress and performance
* Integrating technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required for teaching positions. While a TET or CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. You must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching Social Science at the secondary level.
