About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join our faculty team at G.d International School. As a PGT Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to students from Class 6 to Class 12. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Geography, excellent teaching skills, and experience in developing engaging lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons to students in Class 6 to Class 12 as per the curriculum guidelines
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an interdisciplinary approach to learning
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication channels
- Develop and update the Geography curriculum to align with the CBSE guidelines
- Organize and participate in educational events, workshops, and seminars
- Maintain a well-organized and student-friendly classroom environment
- Supervise students during co-curricular activities and maintain discipline
Required Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you must have a Post Graduate degree in Geography (M.A./M.Sc.) and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. CTET or TET is preferred but not mandatory. With at least three years of experience in teaching Geography, you should be well-versed in the CBSE curriculum and have a passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
