Sir A S Adom World Senior Secondary School invites fresh B.Ed graduates to begin their teaching journey as a PRT Dance Teacher. The role is designed for energetic educators who can blend creative movement with academic discipline. What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging dance sessions for Classes 1 to 5 following the school’s curriculum. Provide individual attention during practice sessions and prepare students for inter-house and inter-school competitions. Receive continuous training and mentorship from senior faculty to refine teaching techniques. Collaborate with music and art teachers to create thematic performances. Assist in organizing annual day and sports day cultural events. Maintain discipline during dance classes and ensure safety of all students. Submit progress reports of students to the head of department every term.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Fresh B.Ed graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates appearing for TET or CTET will be given preference during selection. Previous dance training or performance experience is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Indian classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms is an added advantage.
