Monitor student progress in reading, writing, and speaking Hindi, providing timely feedback and support. Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with grade-level colleagues to integrate Hindi language skills into broader academic programs, such as literature, grammar, and cultural studies. Participate in weekly planning sessions to refine lesson plans, share teaching strategies, and ensure consistency in Hindi instruction. Assess students’ understanding through formative and summative evaluations, documenting progress and recommending adjustments as needed. Collaborate with the school’s Hindi coordinator to implement departmental initiatives, such as language festivals, competitions, and cultural events.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend regular staff meetings and professional development workshops focused on Hindi teaching methodologies and educational trends. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks, audio-visual aids, and digital tools, to support evolving curriculum requirements. Participate in termly parent-teacher interactions to discuss students’ academic progress and areas for improvement in Hindi language skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization or strong background in Hindi education. Possess a graduate degree in Hindi or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in language pedagogy. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in Hindi or a similar subject, is essential for this role. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience with teaching students in Hindi medium schools is highly desirable.
Salary and Location
