About This Role
This is a senior Biology department role at S in Farrukhabad. The position carries departmental ownership with a view to shaping board results and guiding junior staff. It is ideal for a Biology specialist ready to take the next step in school leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Biology curriculum for Classes XI–XII at S, ensuring alignment with UP Board standards and CBSE benchmarks where applicable. Prepare annual teaching plans, question banks, and practical schedules that drive consistent high scores in board exams.
Mentor two to three TGT Biology teachers and two laboratory assistants, conducting weekly classroom observations and feedback sessions. Organize monthly department meetings to share best practices and review student performance data.
Coordinate all Biology practical examinations, maintain lab inventory, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Represent the department in inter-school science fairs and CBSE/UP Board academic forums.
Track student progress through unit tests, pre-board mocks, and final exams. Provide targeted remediation for students scoring below 40% in Biology, including after-school support sessions.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Life Sciences or allied fields with minimum five years of teaching Biology at Class XI–XII level in a senior secondary school. B.Ed is mandatory; D.El.Ed will not be considered.
Candidates with NET or SET qualifications in Biology will receive preference during shortlisting. Prior experience in UP Board schools is strongly preferred.

Salary and Benefits
Fixed monthly salary of Rs.25,000 – Rs.30,000. Annual increment based on performance review. School holidays and local allowances as per S’s policy.
