Coordinate weekly department meetings to align lesson plans with CBSE guidelines. Organize monthly Social Science exhibitions where students present projects on local history and current affairs of Farrukhabad. Prepare students for CBSE Social Science competitions at district and state levels.
Oversee the Social Science lab at S, ensuring proper maintenance of maps, charts, and teaching aids. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Social Science subjects. Assist the Principal in setting mid-term and final examination papers for Social Science.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science from a recognized university is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with minimum 5 years of teaching experience as TGT Social Science Teacher is required. CTET or TET qualification will be preferred during selection.
Experience in coaching students for board examinations in Social Science subjects is necessary. Familiarity with CBSE Social Science curriculum and assessment patterns is essential. Prior leadership in a Social Science department or similar role is desirable.
