Role Summary

Your Students
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will work with students from various backgrounds, ages, and abilities, including those with special needs. You will be expected to design and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning levels, ensuring that every student feels supported and challenged. You will also be encouraged to adopt an inclusive pedagogy that promotes active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students in grades 1-8
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement school-wide Mathematics initiatives
- Support students with special needs in Mathematics classes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide discussions on Mathematics education
- Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and technologies in Mathematics education
- Assist in school events and activities related to Mathematics
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students in grades 1-8
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives
