About This Role
As a key member of the admissions team at Asian International School, the Admission Counsellor will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of our students. This role will be responsible for leading the admissions process, guiding prospective students and their families through the application process, and ensuring a smooth transition into the school community. The Admission Counsellor will be an ambassador for Asian International School, showcasing our school's values and mission to potential students and parents.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Conduct campus tours and provide information to prospective students and parents about the school's curriculum, extracurricular activities, and facilities.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and parents through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Evaluate student applications, reviewing academic records, and assessing suitability for admission.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with feeder schools and educational institutions.
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends, policies, and best practices in admissions.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns to attract new students.
- Provide support to students and parents during the admissions process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Participate in school events, such as open houses, fairs, and parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- A graduate degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in admissions or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to Have:
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- TET or CTET certification.
- Experience working in an educational setting.
