Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons to students in classes 6 to 10, ensuring alignment with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Prepare and manage classroom materials, tools, and supplies, maintaining an organized and safe creative environment.
- Integrate visual and tactile learning experiences, guiding students through techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture.
- Assess student progress through projects, exhibitions, and portfolio reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster skill development.
- Coordinate with co‑ordinators to plan inter‑class art exhibitions, competitions, and school events showcasing student work.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and project submissions, updating the school’s database regularly.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning sessions to enhance instructional strategies.
- Mentor junior teachers and support staff in adopting innovative art teaching methods and classroom management practices.
- Communicate progress and concerns to parents through newsletters, parent‑teacher meetings, and informal conversations.
