PRT English Teacher Position at Delhi Public International School in Sikohabad
Delhi Public International School in Sikohabad, Firozabad, is seeking a dedicated PRT (Practicing Teacher) for its English department. This role focuses on teaching English to students in classes where the teacher is newly appointed, ensuring strong foundational skills in language acquisition and literacy.
The PRT will develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum. Daily classroom instruction includes grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing. Collaboration with senior teachers will enhance teaching methods and student engagement. Assisting in assessment and tracking student progress is also part of the responsibilities.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience is preferred, though not mandatory. A TET or CTET certificate is not required but will be considered favorably.
