Job Description
Physical Education Teacher Responsibilities
You will design and conduct daily Physical Education classes for students, ensuring structured activities that align with curriculum standards. Your role includes planning age-appropriate drills, games, and sports sessions to develop physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline. You’ll also supervise outdoor activities like track and field events, swimming lessons, and team sports to maintain safety and engagement.
You will assess students’ physical abilities through standardized tests and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Your classes must follow Delhi Public International School’s guidelines, balancing skill development with fun and participation. You’ll also help organize inter-house sports events and school-level competitions to foster a competitive yet inclusive spirit.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching roles. Two years of experience in Physical Education teaching is required, preferably in a school environment. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Employment and Salary Details
This is a full-time position based in Sikohabad, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. You will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
