Job Description
TGT Chemistry Teacher Position at Delhi Public International School, Sikohabad
Delhi Public International School in Sikohabad seeks a dedicated TGT Chemistry Teacher to join the faculty for the academic year. This role requires a passionate educator with a strong grasp of chemical principles and pedagogy to inspire students in the STEM curriculum. The school values hands-on teaching that blends theoretical concepts with practical experiments, ensuring students develop both analytical skills and scientific curiosity.
The Chemistry teacher will design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE syllabus, covering topics from inorganic chemistry to organic reactions. Daily classroom instruction must include interactive demonstrations, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications of chemical principles. Collaboration with the science department ensures seamless integration of interdisciplinary learning, particularly in environmental studies and industrial chemistry.

Grading must reflect both conceptual understanding and experimental accuracy, with a focus on safety protocols and ethical conduct in labs.
For this position, a postgraduate degree in Chemistry is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience with modern teaching methodologies and student engagement strategies will be a strong asset.
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.24,000 to Rs.45,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international school setting in Sikohabad.
