Accountant Assistant Job in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
Role Summary
Holy Public School is looking for an Accountant Assistant to support the finance team in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting in fee collection, and preparing monthly financial reports. Candidates with prior experience in school accounting will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounts including receipts, payments, and petty cash.
2. Support in fee collection and issuance of receipts to parents.
3. Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank accounts.
4. Assist in salary processing for staff and vendors.
5. Maintain proper records of income and expenses as per school policies.
6. Handle GST and TDS related documentation for compliance.
7. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
8. Assist in budget preparation and tracking of expenditures.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Commerce or related field from a recognized university is mandatory. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance is required. Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar accounting software is essential. Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary.
Preferred Skills
Experience in school accounting or educational institution finance is highly preferred. Familiarity with GST filing and TDS deductions will be an added advantage. Strong numerical ability and attention to detail are required.
What You Get
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in the range of Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000 based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include PF and ESI as per school norms.
