What You Will Do
1. Coach and train students for basketball competitions and tournaments, ensuring they develop their skills and confidence.
2. Develop and implement a basketball training program, considering the skill levels and interests of students.
3. Plan and organize basketball matches and tournaments, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent spectator experience.
4. Promote basketball at Delhi Public School, encouraging students to participate and develop a passion for the game.
5. Collaborate with other sports coaches to ensure a well-rounded sports program at the school.
6. Maintain accurate records of student participation, progress, and achievements in basketball.
7. Represent Delhi Public School in basketball competitions and tournaments, promoting the school's reputation and values.
8. Develop and maintain good relationships with parents, students, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed about basketball activities.
Required Qualifications
A graduate degree is compulsory, while a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate is preferred but not essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in basketball coaching and be well-versed in basketball rules and regulations.
