Role Summary
Delhi Public School, located in the heart of Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, is seeking an experienced Cricket Coach to lead our school's cricket team to success. As a Cricket Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cricket programs for students, promoting sportsmanship and team spirit, and fostering a positive and competitive environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement cricket training programs for students of all skill levels.
- Conduct regular team practices and matches, providing coaching and guidance to players.
- Foster a positive and competitive team environment, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Identify and develop talent among students, nurturing their skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with other coaches and administrators to ensure a cohesive and effective sports program.
- Recruit and manage a team of assistant coaches and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with school rules and regulations, as well as national and international cricket standards.
- Plan and execute cricket tournaments and events, coordinating logistics and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of team performance, attendance, and player development.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree and at least 2 years of experience in coaching cricket. A background in physical education or a related field is highly desirable. While certification in cricket coaching is not required, it is highly valued. We also prefer candidates with a strong understanding of school sports administration and management.
