Role Summary

The LAB ASSISTANT ensures safe, smooth operation of science and computer labs while supporting administrative workflows. This role bridges faculty needs with lab maintenance, inventory control, and student safety protocols.
What You Will Do
Prepare lab equipment and materials before scheduled practical sessions.
Maintain cleanliness, organize chemicals and glassware, and dispose waste as per safety norms.
Assist in setting up experiments and dismantling after completion.
Keep accurate records of consumables, request replenishments on time.
Coordinate with lab coordinators and administrative staff for schedule alignment.
Conduct basic safety drills and report any hazards immediately.
Support inventory audits and help in stock verification of lab items.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss lab utilization and improvements.
Required Qualifications
Must Have: Graduate in Science or related field, minimum 2 years experience in lab or institutional setup, familiarity with lab safety standards.
Good to Have: Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or Industrial Lab Operations, prior experience in school lab management.
