Day-to-Day Duties
Plan daily English circle times with rhymes, action songs, and big picture books.
Prepare and maintain a corner shelf of graded readers and picture cards.
Use flashcards, puppets, and simple props to teach new words and sounds.
Conduct phonics games that run for ten minutes and end with a quick check.
Organize show-and-tell sessions where children speak three sentences about a toy.
Keep a simple attendance and participation chart on the wall.
Collaborate with the NTT coordinator to align themes with the main school calendar.
Attend fortnightly staff meetings to share observations about each child’s progress.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET.
Two years of experience in teaching English to pre-primary or lower primary classes.
Familiarity with phonics-based methods and early literacy tools is an advantage.
Willingness to work in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar and follow the school’s inclusive calendar.
