Delhi Public School in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, is seeking a dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to strengthen its academic curriculum. This role involves teaching Accountancy at the senior secondary level, preparing students for board examinations and fostering a strong foundation in financial principles. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in modern accounting practices, including double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and taxation laws relevant to Indian business scenarios. The position requires someone who can engage students effectively, align teaching with the latest CBSE syllabus, and encourage critical thinking in financial management.
The role demands hands-on classroom instruction, designing engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world examples from Uttar Pradesh’s business and economic landscape. You will conduct practical sessions on financial analysis, cost accounting, and corporate governance, ensuring students grasp both theoretical concepts and their practical applications. Regular assessments, including internal exams and project-based evaluations, will be part of your responsibilities to measure student progress. Collaboration with the academic team will also be essential to integrate Accountancy with other subjects like Economics and Business Studies.
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Accountancy or a relevant subject is required, preferably in a school setting. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will also need to be familiar with the CBSE curriculum and modern teaching methodologies to ensure effective student engagement.
