About This Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty at Delhi Public School in Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from Class 9 to Class 12 and will be expected to contribute to the development of our Computer Science department. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and participate in staff development programs.
What You Will Do
- Teach Computer Science to students from Class 9 to Class 12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and evaluations
- Participate in staff development programs to stay updated on best practices in Computer Science education
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum projects
- Provide guidance and support to students outside of regular class hours
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Computer Science education
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university. You should also have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching Computer Science in a school environment and those who are familiar with the curriculum and syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
