PGT Economics Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Economics to high school students, covering core syllabus topics like microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business economics. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum while ensuring conceptual clarity.
Prepare and conduct classroom sessions, including interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world applications to enhance student understanding. Use visual aids, group activities, and practical examples to make complex economic concepts accessible.
Assess student performance through regular exams, projects, and quizzes, ensuring fair evaluation standards. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their academic skills and problem-solving abilities.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching at this level.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Economics or a relevant subject. Experience in shaping young minds with a focus on analytical thinking and economic reasoning is highly valued.
Salary and Employment Details
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This role is a full-time position at Prominence World School in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
