Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare lesson plans for PGT English classes 9 to 12 as per CBSE guidelines.
2. Conduct regular classroom teaching using smart boards and digital resources.
3. Organize debates, elocutions, and literary events for students.
4. Evaluate answer sheets and provide timely feedback to students.
5. Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams.
6. Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
7. Participate in PTMs and counsel parents on student progress.
8. Collaborate with subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects.
9. Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in English with minimum 55% marks
- B.Ed from a recognized university
- Minimum 4 years of experience teaching English at senior secondary level
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Valid teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated schools
Good to Have
- D.El.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in literary or language clubs
- Previous work in Dadri or Gautam Buddha Nagar schools
- Knowledge of blended learning tools
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage students through interactive methods
- Experience with digital teaching platforms
- Familiarity with assessment tools and rubrics
- Willingness to mentor students and guide them in writing competitions
