1. Deliver the CBSE/State English curriculum to classes IX‑XII with interactive methodologies.
2. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessments aligning with board standards.
3. Conduct remedial classes and extra‑co‑curricular activities such as debates and creative writing clubs.
4. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, projects and report cards.
5. Participate in departmental meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events.
6. Integrate ICT tools and digital resources to enhance language learning.
7. Mentor junior teachers and assist in curriculum development initiatives.
8. Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in English along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is essential. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a passion for literature are required.
Salary and Location
The position offers a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.70,000 per month and is based in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh at Nilgiri Hills Public School.
