1. Develop and deliver engaging history lessons covering Indian and global historical periods, ensuring alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
2. Create and maintain lesson plans, including interactive activities and projects to enhance student understanding of historical concepts.
3. Assess students’ historical knowledge through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation, ensuring fair and transparent grading.
4. Collaborate with the history department to design and implement extracurricular activities like debates, model rallies, and cultural events related to historical themes.
5. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters as per school policies.
6. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and workshops to foster a strong connection between the school and the community.
7. Guide students in research projects and assignments, encouraging critical thinking and historical inquiry.
8. Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and curriculum updates in history to improve instructional practices.
9. Supervise and mentor junior teachers, offering guidance on teaching techniques and classroom management.
