What You Will Do
As a PGT Mathematics Teacher at Delhi Public School, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to senior classes, preparing and delivering lesson plans, and assessing student performance. You will also lead the Mathematics department by contributing to curriculum development, board exam coaching, and staff training. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a range of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of students
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Coordinating with other subject teachers to ensure a cohesive curriculum
- Preparing students for Mathematics board exams
- Providing guidance and support to students during extracurricular activities
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Mathematics, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) qualification. A minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching Mathematics, preferably in a school setting, is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification.
