What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive Physical Education curriculum for Classes IX to XII.
- Coach students for Physical Education board exams, focusing on sports theory, physical fitness, and sports skills.
- Design and conduct coaching sessions for students participating in school sports teams.
- Organize and supervise Physical Education events, such as sports tournaments and fitness camps.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate Physical Education with other subjects, such as health and nutrition.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive Physical Education environment for students with diverse needs.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and achievement in Physical Education.
- Participate in school-wide events, such as sports days and inter-house competitions.
- Mentor students in Physical Education-related projects and research initiatives.
- Liaise with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress in Physical Education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a post-graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field (M.P.Ed, M.Sc. in Physical Education, etc.). A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in a school setting, is required. Candidates with a B.Ed. degree and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience may also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid TET or CTET certification.
