Conduct first aid training and ensure emergency protocols are followed during intense physical activities. Collaborate with the physical education department to develop annual sports calendars and event schedules. Provide individual coaching to talented students preparing for state and national level competitions. Teach theoretical aspects of physical education including anatomy, physiology, and sports psychology. Evaluate student progress through practical assessments and written examinations as per school guidelines. Maintain a disciplined environment during sports periods ensuring no bullying or unsafe behavior occurs. Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and nutritional awareness among the student body. Report any injuries or equipment damage to the administration immediately for prompt resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must hold a post graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this teaching position. While TET or CTET certification is not strictly required it is highly preferred for eligibility. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience in a school setting. Proficiency in organizing large scale sports events and managing teams is essential. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi are required for effective classroom management. Physical fitness and the ability to demonstrate sports techniques are expected from the applicant.
