Role Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join our team at Delhi Public School. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to students. You will also contribute to the development of our school's curriculum and assessment framework.

Day-to-Day Duties

* Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
* Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and experiments to engage students in the learning process
* Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments
* Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop our school's curriculum and assessment framework
* Participate in parent-teacher conferences and meetings
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
* Contribute to the development of our school's extracurricular programs
* Participate in staff development programs and training workshops
* Supervise students during school hours and maintain discipline in the classroom

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you should have:

* A postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc.) from a recognized university
* A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
* At least 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* Strong subject matter expertise in Physics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning practices
