About This Role
Delhi Public School Dadri integrates smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school-wide LMS to create a blended learning environment for Classes 11–12. As the PGT Political Science Teacher you will lead this digital shift, delivering concept clarity through real-time data dashboards and interactive case studies. Your lessons will blend constitutional debates, electoral politics, and international relations with simulations on the LMS.
How You Will Teach
Daily classroom sessions run on smart boards with embedded YouTube documentaries and live polling via Google Forms. Homework, assignments, and MCQ quizzes are issued through Google Classroom and auto-graded by the LMS. Revision notes, mind maps, and previous years’ board papers are stored in a searchable repository for students to access 24×7.
What You Will Do
Create and upload animated timelines for Indian Constitution amendments using Canva or Genially.
Run weekly mock parliamentary debates on Zoom for students across grades, recording them for self-review.
Upload weekly current-affairs capsules with MCQs directly to the LMS for instant feedback.
Host doubt-clearing sessions via Google Meet during evening hours; attendance is tracked automatically.
Design formative assessments in Google Forms with auto-generated analytics for weak-topic identification.
Curate a digital library of Supreme Court judgments and election commission reports for project work.
Train students to use Mendeley for referencing research papers and Turnitin for plagiarism checks.
Update the LMS gradebook every Friday so parents receive real-time progress alerts.
Required Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in Political Science with minimum 55% marks from a UGC-recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from an NCTE-approved institution.
Minimum four years of teaching experience in Classes 11–12.
Familiarity with CBSE Political Science syllabus and board exam patterns.
Preferred Skills
Strong digital literacy: ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues in the classroom.
Experience with Google Workspace for Education, Kahoot!, Nearpod, and Mentimeter.
Willingness to attend quarterly ed-tech workshops organized by Delhi Public School.
What You Get
A fixed monthly salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.55,000 based on experience and interview performance.
