Delhi Public School, Dadri is inviting fresh B.Ed graduates with a postgraduate degree in Political Science to join as PGT Political Science Teacher. The role is designed for candidates who can bring contemporary understanding of political theories and governance to classroom discussions. Teacher training and structured mentorship are built into the first six months.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Classes 11-12 with a focus on Indian Constitution, Political Theory, and International Relations. Prepare students for CBSE board exams with practice tests and project-based assessments. Training sessions on interactive pedagogy and classroom management are provided during the probation period. Regular feedback from senior teachers helps refine teaching methods. Assist in organizing Model United Nations simulations and debates to enhance civic awareness. Collaborate with the Social Science department to align content with CBSE guidelines. Participate in PTMs and school events to strengthen parent-teacher relationships.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Political Science with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed degree is mandatory; freshers are welcome. TET-appearing candidates will be considered based on exam performance. Knowledge of CBSE syllabus for Political Science is essential.
