Teach Political Science at the senior secondary level, covering syllabus topics like Indian and world politics, political theory, and current affairs. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with national education standards while fostering critical thinking among students. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and analytical skills.
Engage with students through interactive sessions, group discussions, and field visits to political institutions, ensuring they grasp real-world applications of political science concepts. Collaborate with the school management to design extracurricular activities, such as debates, model United Nations (MUN) simulations, and guest lectures by eminent political analysts.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and discipline while adhering to Lps Global School’s academic policies. Participate in curriculum reviews and suggest improvements based on student performance data and evolving educational trends.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline with a minimum of five years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this position. A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Proven expertise in teaching Political Science to students at the senior secondary level is essential. Experience in designing and delivering innovative teaching methods, particularly those that emphasize civic education and democratic values, will be highly valued. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE board syllabi for Political Science is advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with additional benefits as per school policy. This is a full-time position with a stable and supportive work environment at Lps Global School.
